Highway Serial Killers
Listen
Two decades ago, the FBI was tipped off to a gruesome pattern of unsolved murders along American roadways. Today, at least 850 homicides have been linked to long-haul truck drivers—many of which are unsolved. Former FBI Assistant Director and bestselling author Frank Figliuzzi exposes a crisis in America that must be stopped. In efforts to understand the life and habits of drivers and their roadside culture, he rode in a big rig with a long-haul trucker for 2,000 miles. He has also interviewed the courageous trafficked victims of these crimes and describes their inspiring efforts to now help others avoid similar fates. Frank emphatically explains that most truck drivers are honest hard-working Americans who do not deserve to be aligned with these deviants. He is an MSNBC columnist and a National Security Analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.
