Healing And Hope

Robert Schwab, chief medical officer for a hospital in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, announces the release of his third book, which tells the story of a physician who faces life after an accident that leaves him with debilitating injuries. In an instant, the doctor becomes the patient, and while the journey throughout Eddie’s Boy reflects on illness and suffering, the healing and love that transpires is a lesson for us all. Dr. Schwab explores the things we take for granted, and the things we never knew we had. In addition to writing and speaking on these topics, he teaches an undergraduate seminar at The University of Texas at Dallas and has published poems, stories and essays about healthcare.
