Kathryn Interviews Jonathan Mooney, NY Times Best-Selling Author of “Normal Sucks”
Episode #4898

Women Over 40
Nina Collins' book grew out of a closed Facebook group called "What Would Virginia Woolf Do?" as an ironic nod to a brilliant and witty feminist who killed herself in her 50s. The joke was that she and her friends-smart, sophisticated, funny, feminist-were entering peri-menopause and menopause and feeling somewhat demoralized. There are now 13,500+ members, all over the world and across a diverse range of economic and racial spheres who talk candidly about all things that women over 40 care about - their bodies, their romantic lives, their kids, their careers, literature, politics. Collins is featured in The Guardian, Vogue, and The NY Times.
