Seeking Therapy
Listen
America is facing an unprecedented mental health crisis right now. Between people being stuck in lockdown, job uncertainty, racial and political tensions, a lot of Americans are suffering internally. The federal emotional services hotline has seen a 1000% increase in calls and 33% of Americans are reporting they currently feel depressed with a number of high profile suicides being reported in the news. While working in outpatient mental health clinics as a social worker, Alyssa Petersel saw that individuals seeking a therapist were overwhelmed by the process of finding one. Petersel and her team provide personalized therapist recommendations to those interested in beginning a therapeutic relationship and journey. Petersel’s been featured in Forbes, Allure, Thrive, Bloom and HuffPost.
